The need for rostered LCMS teachers in our Lutheran schools is an acute issue. Less than 1/3 of all teachers in Lutheran schools are now Synodically trained. For $800, you can provide the financial support for one of our non-Synodically trained Lutheran teachers to complete one of the eight required on-line theology courses for the LCMS Colloquy Program. The completion of this eight-course process makes the teacher eligible for a call (Synodically trained and eligible for the roster). A gift of $6,400 would completely sponsor a teacher through this Synodically training process.
