On Sunday, October 29, 2006, Redeemer Lutheran Preschool, Lincoln, NE received its NLSA (National Lutheran School Accreditation) certificate after the Sunday morning worship services. Redeemer was one of ten LCMS preschools to be accredited at the annual NLSA Commission meeting this past August. Alicia Levitt, Director of Wee Creations Preschool and Pastor Wayne Berkesch, Peace Lutheran Church, Fremont, IN display the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) certificate that was presented to the church and school during the late worship service on Sunday, October 14 by Parish Services Executive Tim Ewell. Wee Creations Preschool became the first early childhood center in the English District to obtain NLSA using the newly developed model designed exclusively for early childhood ministries. Also pictured is a NLSA banner that is a gift from the English District NLSA Commission to all schools upon completion of the NLSA process for the first time. Congratulations!

Note: Visiting Team Reports (2 copies)and Annual Reports(1 copy) must be submitted to the District Accreditation Commission on or before May 15. The DAC will send both reports to the national office in St. Louis. Annual fees continue to be due and payable in the NLSA office by October 1.
