UNEXPECTED OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES

It's just amazing how God works. A number of people at Christ Lutheran Church in Lake Mills, Wisconsin discovered there was a need for financial planning information in the community. Last fall they obtained the volunteer services of an area financial planner to be the keynote speaker for this series of seminars. As the planner became more familiar with our pastor and others in the church during these seminars he began to open up and share his life story. Our pastor and the planner kept in contact with one another and built up a light friendship during the fall. The planner, was invited to the Christmas Eve service and brought his wife to church for the first time in years. The middle-aged couple felt very much at home through several conversations with the people of Christ Lutheran. And, after a month of continuing to spend time worshiping God at Christ Lutheran, they have decided to
become active members of this congregation and feel very connected with the people here, and are growing closer to God again. The financial planner's faith is fanning into a flame for the Lord's work again.

Last Sunday, after a sermon about sharing our faith, on the theme "This Little Gospel Light of Mine, I'm Gonna Let it Shine", he exclaimed he was going to be inviting other friends to come with him to worship the Lord. To God be the Glory!
