CONCORDIA HEALTH PLANS - BE WELL REWARDS PROGRAM
Concordia Plans has a new program to encourage healthy living (activities and medical screenings). If you are a worker enrolled in the Concordia Health Plan, you and your spouse can earn up to $250 each AND your employer will earn whatever you and your spouse earn as well.
More important than the monetary reward, of course, is the health benefit to you. But with this program, everyone benefits. Statistics show that for every $1 spent on encouraging healthy lifestyles and preventive medicine, there is a reduction of $3 in claims. This savings is not only good for Concordia Plans, but it is good for your ministry as well because they are a not-for-profit and pass the savings on in the form of lower increases in health insurance. This means more money for your church or school to do ministry!
While industry trends for 2012 rate increases are estimated to be 7%-10%, the Concordia Health Plan active member rates will increase just 4.9% for all options for 2012.
