Just a little bit of trivia today for a bit of a break in routine. More than just trivia, perhaps this shows how God works things out to speak to our lives in, well, strange ways:
What is the shortest chapter in The Bible? Answer– Psalm 117
What is the longest chapter in The Bible? A – Psalm 119
Which chapter is in the middle of The Bible? A – Psalm 118
There are 594 chapters in The Bible before Psalm 118
There are 594 chapters after Psalm 118
594 + 594 = 1188
Which verse is in the very center of The Bible? Psalm 118: 8
“It is better to trust in The Lord, than to put confidence in humans.” Psalm 188: 8
Doesn’t this say something significant about God’s will for our lives? When you are searching for what the meaning of your life is, or how to be in the center of God’s will, go to the center of His Word! There you will find that trusting God is the best advice you can follow, and where your life has meaning.
Isn’t this at least a bit odd how this worked out? Or was God behind it? Or in the center of it, I should ask…
Pray today for the ability to trust in God. Seek His guidance for your life in His Word, The Bible. Center your life in Him.
