Mrs. Teresa Fairow

Teresa served as Associate Director of Membership for the Association of Lutheran Development Executives, Verona, Wisconsin, until June 2008. She previously served as Office and Building Manager for Calvary Lutheran Chapel, Madison, Wisconsin, Assistant Manager of Media Outreach and Parish Media Team Consultant for Lutheran Hour Ministries, St. Louis, and Event Manager for Concordia Publishing House, St. Louis. Teresa has also been a sales representative for insurance, printing, and cosmetic companies.

She has taught Conversation English and cooking classes for international students and their spouses since 1999. Teresa previously served on the Board of Directors for International Student Ministry, Inc. and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League’s (LWML) Media and Marketing Committee and Public Relations Committee.

Teresa earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a major in Marketing, from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, in 1987.

She is married to Rev. Greg Fairow, who is called by LCMS World Mission, in partnership with the Lutheran Campus Mission Association, as Campus Mission Catalyst. They live in Iowa City, Iowa, where they are members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Teresa is the Chairperson of Our Redeemer’s Assimilation Committee, and she is actively involved in the church’s small group ministry and LWML Mission Guild.

Teresa grew up on the farm in Northwest Iowa where her parents still live and work today. She is the oldest of three children. Teresa was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Terril, Iowa.
